1 last poem for Halloween!

Last year I wrote quite a few poems that were written as "Childrens" inspired poems but were so inappropriate for kids that I never even put illustrations to them. At some point I would love to put some incredibly inappropriate poems and illustrations into a book but until then, here is my favorite one.

(This poem is not directed towards anybody so if you would like to get angry over its content, please go cry to somebody else, not me. Thank you!)

As I’ve become older, Ive been shit out of luck

So for this years costume idea I don’t give a fuck

I went to the store and bought some fake tits

With a skanky ass dress, lets hope it fits

Made a bottle of medicine for some STD’s

A plastic fake ass that some bros can squeeze

Applied plenty of cheap make-up and went out the door

With a trail of broken condoms behind me on the floor

Made out with fifty-five guys in one single night

With some nasty high heels to add some height

Took a few colored markers and drew some tattoos

If she’s reading this now, I hope I amuse

Asked my neighbor if she had a blonde wig she could lend

Cause this Halloween I’ll be my disgusting ex-girlfriend

#13 "Monsters Have Children Too"

Here is another illustration that has no poem to go with it. I actually like the idea of this illustration for kids so much that I had trouble writing a poem in which I thought fit. The Banner was supposed to say "Class of 87", but I wanted to do all the words digitally in photoshop. I'm sure that someday I will put a poem to this thing. Happy Halloween Everybody!

#12 "The Halloween Ogre"

I illustrated this with the intentions of writing a poem about a fat bully that steals everybody's candy on Halloween. I hated the illustration so much that I never bothered to write the poem. This is one I would definitely like to redo if I go through with an entire book.

#11 "Mr. Nosferatu"

I once had a teacher who didn’t speak or smile

He was also quite tall and had a bad sense of style

His name was Count Orlok and he always seemed odd

Rumor goes he sucked the blood from my classmate Todd

He always seemed to stand there with his eyes open wide

And kept the curtains closed so we never saw outside

He only let us color with crayons black and white

His desk was a coffin, which he slept in through the night

Instead of routine detention he bit my best friend Drew

Worst teacher in the world, also known as Nosferatu

#10 "The Picasso Spell"

The kids all laughed and told her that she was no good

When she tried to cast the right spell, she never could

Until one day she tried harder than she had before

Said the spell and sent the kids crashing to the floor

They all rolled around and began to look strange

Into Picasso Paintings, they all began to change

#9 "A Zombie For You"

On All Hallows Eve you broke my heart

Tore it out of my chest and ripped it apart

I never thought you would hurt me this way

Then you left me to rot on my favorite day

You said you loved me and you’d always be true

Then you turned me into a zombie for you

#8 "The Scarecrow"

That scarecrow outside watches me every night

I can see him in the field by the pale moonlight

Mother always tells me there’s nothing to fear

She tucks me in, kisses me and then hugs me dear

And when she leaves my room and heads on down the hall

I can see that scarecrows shadow on my bedroom wall

Then I look on out the window and what do I see?

Not the creepy scarecrow but scary clowns grinning at me

#7 "The Killing Moon"

The Killing Moon waits till you're fast asleep in bed

Creeps in through your window and casts shadows of dread

Creeping and crawling with teeth sharp as knives

The shadows they move with the glowing night skies

As the clouds pass and the shadows they grow

The Killing Moon creeps and puts on quite a show

But the quiet of these hours as you lay to rest

Have left you asleep uninformed of your guest

The night winds down, you’re still tucked in tight

And into your room creeps a new type of light

Finally you wake to the crisp morning air

The Killing Moon has come and gone with you unaware

#6 "Feline Frank"

Frank lived alone his entire life

Forty-five and still no wife

Cats galore, he was a mess

Alone in the dark, he would obsess

About his favorite place to play

With all his cats so far away

Under the deck and in the sand

Gone for days in cat dreamland

#5 "Crazy Uncle Romero"

He always wore big glasses and had shiny white hair

A bright off color smile and a very friendly glare

He hung out with the dead in the dawn, day, and night

And always knew how to treat a brutal zombie bite

He would buy us tons of presents every Halloween

Wrapped up in a pretty bow with tons of gangrene

We’d open up the gifts he brought and couldn’t believe our eyes

Rotting, smelly limbs beautifully covered in flies

The feet went to Johnny and the head went to Sue

I almost cried tears of joy when I opened our neighbor Stu

He was our favorite family member, our own sort of hero

Wouldn’t expect anything less from crazy Uncle Romero

#4 "Max"

Max the dog-faced boy had to be put down

He was known for chasing the mailman all around town

His mother couldn’t take it so she sent him to the pound

Life just cant be easy when your half boy and half hound

#3 "The Skeleton Parade"

The skeleton parade rolls into town

They come every year from down in the ground

Clattering of bones fills the evening air

All through the graveyard celebration of scares

They wave to the children and march down the street

Playing Trom-BONES and moving their feet

They rattle around as they moan and groan

Then go back into the ground under each gravestone

#2 "The Church Of Frankenstein"

At The Church of Frankenstein, people gather to pray

To celebrate the monsters birth on this very day

They read the Frankenbible and drink the Frankenwine

Then sing and dance around to have a great Frankentime

The priest reads the sermon while everybody stands

They all say Amen and proceed to clap their hands

And when service is finished at half past nine

The lights go out and people leave The Church of Frankenstein

#1 "The Pumpkin Carver"

The man with the pumpkins carved through the night

Filling the town with a glowing fright

Terrifying faces filled the air

Scaring the children with every glare

I have always loved Halloween and am influenced by so many other artists, movies, and books that I wanted to put out a book I would've loved as a kid. Last Halloween I did a series of strange illustrations (all 9 x 12 in.) and poems for a childrens book idea I had called "The Killing Moon". A bunch of things fell through and I wasn't happy with some of the more rushed illustrations and poems so I never had it published. A year later I finally have a reason (Halloween) to put them up for everybody to see. Every remaining day of October I will put up 1 illustration and poem. My style has changed quite a bit since and there are a lot of things I would do differently. Some day I would like to redo quite a few of these paintings and poems and put 31 of them together for a childrens book but until then, here are the original illustrations. All illustrations and poems are done by me so please check back everyday of October to see and read them all! Comments welcome!

This is the original cover of the book. I was going to do the title and other written words digitally but never bothered due to problems I had with my own illustrations.

Here are some great KK6 pics by other artists that I found and wanted to show everybody. All of the photo booth pics were taken by Badjon and I really think these few favorite photos really show an accurate depiction of how the night went.

Kulture Klash 6 was easily one of the most amazing things ive ever been a part of. Amazing artists, musicians, and people everywhere...It was overwhelming. It was an honor to show my work with these other artists, I met and exchanged contacts with over 100 people and sold quite a few prints too. Perfect night, here are some pics from many of the events and artists.
